Refund Policy
Order processing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles payments, taxes, receipts and refunds. Charges appear on your statement as "PADDLE.NET* LECTUNOTE".
1. Credit packs (one-time purchases)
- Full refund within 14 days of purchase if no credits from that pack have been used.
- If some credits were used within 14 days, we refund the unused portion pro rata (e.g. 1,390 of 13,900 credits used → 90% refunded).
- Purchases older than 14 days and credits already consumed are non-refundable.
- Free credits (sign-up bonus etc.) are not refundable and are treated as consumed before paid credits.
2. Pro subscription (monthly)
- Full refund if requested within 14 days of the first payment and no AI note conversions were run during that period.
- You can cancel at any time. Pro features stay active until the end of the current billing period and you will not be charged again.
- Renewal payments are generally non-refundable. We will refund a renewal if you ask within 7 days of the renewal date and have not used Pro features (including AI conversion) since the renewal.
- We do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused days in a billing period.
3. Not refundable
- Credits already consumed (completed AI conversions)
- Fees charged by third-party AI providers you use with your own API key (BYO) — contact that provider
- Accounts restricted for violating the Terms of Service
4. How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] with the order number from your Paddle receipt and your sign-in email. We reply within 2 business days.
- You may also contact Paddle support directly through the link at the bottom of your Paddle receipt.
- Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and may take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your bank.
If something went wrong with a charge, please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. We can usually resolve it right away.
5. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits mandatory consumer protection rights in your country of residence (for example the EU Consumer Rights Directive or the Korean E-Commerce Act). Where the law grants you broader rights, the law prevails.
